Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, shared services (accounting, payroll, billing, and accounts payable), compliance, and bank relationships. They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding the company’s financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in strategic finance and management.
Responsibilities
· Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to the CEO
· Strategic lens toward developing a business model growing a business
· Support the financial planning and analysis efforts, including robust and flexible financial
models projecting results among divisions and consolidated
· Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and cash forecasting that aligns with the financial planning and analysis models
· Prepare financial statements and reports and provide key insights and suggestions for improvements
· Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions
· Manage relationships with banks
· Reviewing all formal finance, HR, and IT-related procedures
· Ability to partner with the executive team in crafting a strategy consistent with financial objectives, as well as propose and evaluate other growth opportunities and strategies
· Ability to identify KPIs that drive business and partner with division leaders to manage toward those KPIs
· Advising on long-term business and financial planning
· Manages the annual budgeting process from start to finish and includes a deep knowledge of steps, timelines, issues, and changes in planning processes
· Design financial models and develop or manage the development of BI tools
Qualifications
· Strong finance-based analytical skills
· Proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or equivalent
· Ability to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting
· Leadership experience with cross-functional initiatives
· Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
· Highly organized; strong system for meeting deadlines and closing the loop with key stakeholders
· 10 years + of finance experience
· Understands consulting services and can participate when necessary
· CPA or MBA preferred but not required
· IPO experience preferred
