About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced AZURE Data Architect to join our healthcare technology team. As the Azure Data Architect, you will be challenged with providing architecture and data design oversight as well as configuration and design guidance for application data artifacts in Azure Portal for cloud application implementations. You are a great fit if you possess strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Additionally, if you have a proven track record of owning and delivering large, multi-faceted projects, then you are a great fit.
Technical Qualifications That Make You a Great Fit:
· Fluency in complex T-SQL and experience with RDBMSs, and NoSQL databases
· Developing modern data warehouse solutions using Azure stack (Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Delta Lake, Synapse)
· Experience designing and building big data pipelines
· Experience handling structured and unstructured datasets
· Experience in Data Modeling and advanced SQL.
· Excellent programming skills using PySpark, Scala
· Very good understanding of Spark eco system and internal
· Demonstrable experience integrating Azure Databricks with various services using best practices.
· Demonstrable experience in Agile methodologies
· Strong communication and presentation skills
· Well versed with git
· Demonstrable experience with CI-CD pipeline development
· Demonstrable experience managing performance issues using Spark UI, and optimizing jobs by tuning spark parameters
· Well versed with data modelling techniques and practices
Additional Skills That Make You a Great Fit:
· Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark
· Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate
· Shell scripting
· Strong delivery background across the delivery of high-value, business-facing technical projects in major organizations
· Experience in client delivery with Data Engineering / Data Science
· Expert-level skills or one or more of the following certifications in
o Azure Administration is preferred
o Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
o Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
o Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
· Experience in healthcare IT
· Experience with Windows and Linux Server in Systems Azure IaaS
· Familiarity management groups, subscriptions and resource groups
· Knowledge and implementation of High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and Performance Tuning best practices
· Familiarity with Ansible as an Infrastructure configuration tool
· Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code
· Understanding of Healthcare business vertical and the business terms
· Good analytical skills.
· Strong communication skills – oral and verbal
· Ability to work with various stakeholders across various geography
· Excellent Team player, with the ability to build & sustain teams
· Should be able to function as an Individual Contributor as well if required.
· Mentor people and create a high performing organization (foster relationships, resolve conflicts and so on while delivering performance feedback
