Kubernetes Software Developer
Brief description
The Kubernetes Software Developer will be responsible for implementing design patterns for distributed systems, configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines. The candidate must have experience with microservices, containers, and Kubernetes.
Tasks
- Create or develop the container infrastructure platform for the company
- Develop the tooling to operate the platform
- Coordinate with other infrastructure teams to meet goals
- Enhance and improve delivery systems with Continuous Integration
- Improve the monitoring and alert system
- Work closely with developer teams to assess their requirements and ensure the platform is designed with operability and ease-of-use in mind
- Troubleshoot issues and solve problems where needed
- Create and nurture highly available systems on Kubernetes
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any computer related course with 3 to 5 years of experience in Kubernetes
- Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, flannel, CoreOS, containerd)
- Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCE, Azure, Openstack, etc.)
- Strong expertise in DevOps and CI/CD implementation
- Expertise or in-depth knowledge in Linux
- Thorough knowledge of cloud-native development and hybrid cloud environments
- Understanding of microservice design and architectural patterns
- Keep up with latest technology trends and best practices in the industry
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills

Working conditions
- This is a full-time position requiring 8 hours of work per day or 40 hours in a week minimum
- The resource will be hired as a consultant or independent contractor earning an hourly rate equal to his/her skills, experience, and job competency.
- Resource shall be using his/her machine. External monitors will be available for those who will be working in the office
- This is a remote position with possibilities to work onsite for a certain number of days depending on scheduled meetings and tasks.
