Project Manager

The Digital Producer (DP) oversees the delivery of digital experiences from ideation to production, to optimization by leading the work form end to end. The DP coordinates the day-to-day agency interactive efforts on multiple projects and works with internal teams, including digital designers, developers, and data. In this role, the DP ensures that the agency delivers: world-class projects that are on time and budget.

Performance will be judged by: Delivery dates are met; estimates are on budget; quality of the product; client satisfaction with project objectives met.

Core Contacts

The Digital Producer will report to the Solution Architect/Dev Lead and will work in lockstep with the interactive team and other department leads to deliver world-class quality projects. The DP will work with other Digital Producers and Project Managers to align team resources and deliverables for multi-channel marketing campaigns.


  • Manage multiple interactive projects start to finish, ensuring successful project completion against deadlines
  • Participate in proposal generation, project planning, feature scoping, level of effort estimation, and delivery conversations
  • Develop workable scopes, budgets, work plans and realistic timetables for digital projects
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing application: websites, banners, emails, and landing pages
  • Maintain updates project status and deliverables inside project management tool
  • Monitors all budget, and resources pertaining to digital projects
  • Lead daily stand-up meetings for entire interactive team
  • Provide and maintain projects status – liaising with development teams, designers, and commercial staff to provide accurate updates of project statuses
  • Provide client updates for weekly status updates on all projects
  • Educating clients on digital or technological aspects of their projects
  • Work with the Project Management team to align larger campaign projects and full agency alignment on resources
  • Regularly meets with Dev Lead to confirm project progress and understanding of underlying infrastructure
  • Management of external resources, freelancers and vendors to uphold digital expectations and deadlines
  • Participate in resource assignment meetings, which include digital, creative leads, and development leads to allocate resources based on availability
  • Project quality assurance – testing and review of output, reviewing outputted deliverables against scope and overall standards
  • Champion internal systems for higher productivity working
  • Define and enforce best practices and contribute to company knowledge-sharing effort
  • Understands: positioning development, marketing plans, manufacturing or development needs, timeline and roadmap planning, stats analysis and reporting
  • Strong creative approach for video, interactive, SEM and user journey experience with proven skills in interaction design, brand and campaign concepting and execution
  • Ability to decipher complex communication briefs and objectives into intelligent media / technology solutions
  • Involved in Client presentations to present digital concepts
  • Documentation development for digital projects, sitemap, journey diagram, and functionality specs
  • Understanding of Marketing Automation and digital deliverable tools
  • Ability to use content management system tools, to update and apply content updates
  • Works with agency core function group on post-mortems
  • Personal time tracking
