About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our healthcare focused technology team. The SDET will be responsible for Quality Assurance/ Testing of elastic scale compute, pipeline and data engineering-based solution components. Additionally, you will be challenged with:
- Triaging issues reported by our internal and external teams
- Collaborating with our QA team to develop and deliver automated testing practices
- Supporting our IT team with infrastructure setup to facilitate Quality Assurance
- Collaborating with the production team to ensure timely delivery of builds
- Supporting and maintaining some of our internal web tools
- Managing and maintaining internal databases used by our tools
- Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipeline elements related to Quality Assurance/ DevSecOps
- Identifying and proposing solutions for DevOps bottlenecks related to Quality Assurance/ DevSecOps
- Participating in creating standards, frameworks and libraries
Technical Qualifications That Make You a Great Fit:
- 5+ years of hands-on creating standards, frameworks and libraries
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing applications and libraries for dev-operations
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python, cake and other scripting languages
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing with C# and C++
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working on web technologies such as .NET based web tech (like Blazor), React, Javascript
- Background in object-oriented design and software engineering methodologies
- Effective organization, time-management, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a support organization providing user support
- 4+ years prior experience in the health care industry required
Additional Skills That Make You a Great Fit:
- 5+ years Azure cloud engineering experience
- 5+ years Linux
- 5+ years Windows Development
- 5+ years building and managing containers (Docker or Kubernetes)
- Experience building infrastructure as code in Terraform
