Experienced Vue.js Engineer with PHP Programming Experience.
Location: Remote or Hybrid in Cebu City, Philippines.
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Vue.js engineer with strong PHP programming skills to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern front-end technologies and a passion for building high-quality, responsive web applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new features and functionality for our Vue.js-based web application using best practices and following our established coding standards.
- Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and implement solutions to complex problems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as needed.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of overall web application development / engineering.
- 3-5 years of recent experience as a Vue.js engineer, with a strong understanding of the Vue.js framework and its ecosystem.
- Strong PHP programming skills, including experience with modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with server-side rendering or universal JavaScript applications.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum.
- Experience with server-side technologies, such as Node.js or PHP, for building APIs or server-side logic.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL.
- Experience with deployment and continuous integration tools such as Docker, Ansible, or Jenkins.
- Experience with Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience with design and user experience, including an understanding of design principles and the ability to create wireframes or prototypes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work well in a team and with non-technical stakeholders.
- A strong portfolio of previous projects or contributions to open source projects.
